There is a center nut, not bolt that needs to be removed. I always leave the nut on a couple of threads till the flywheel pops free. Then you need a puller with grade eight bolts screwed into the flywheel holes (x3). Some of the flywheels are stubborn but with patience it will pop free. Torque the puller as tight as you dare and leave it for a while tighten it some more, give the center bolt a whack with a hammer and tighten it some more. Some have said to use transmission fluid to help break it free. It may take a day or three but you should be successful and yes the points are under it. Best of luck. Rick.

hi nnatel1200. welcome to iboats. Rick is correct, you need 3 GRADE 8 blots (1/4" x 20) that are about 2 1/2" - 3" long. You can get them at Lowes, or Home Depot for a couple bucks. You'll also need a harmonic balancer puller (a.k.a. flywheel puller), which you can get at any auto parts store for about $15-$20. Here's a link that can show you how to use it and how to give you moor an all around tune up. It's not the exact same model, but the basics are all the same. Keep us posted.
