I recently puchased this motor and want to know where the water exits the motor after it circulates through the powerhead. I checked the impeller and all is well there. Just want to make sure pump is working when the motor is running.
Welcome to Iboats!<br /><br />There is no water outlet on this outboard (it all comes out the exhaust). But you should feel a good mist of water coming from the 8 idle exhaust relief holes on the back of the midsection.<br /><br />To see if it's getting too hot, put a drop of water on the cylinder head. If it sizzles, it's too hot.
