Won't start, set the timing and it still won't start. We are still losing spark at the plugs. All the wiring seems to be ok. The distributor and distributor cap seems to be ok but we are going to replace the distributor cap anyway just to see. We are at loss at what else it could be any ideas?

The timing belt is loose, is there a way to tighten it up or do I just need to replace?

One of the distributor mounting bolts is in a slot. The belt is adjusted so that when a .010 feeler gauge is pushed in the center, the belt deflects about 1/8 to 3/16 inch before the feeler gauge bends. You really need to check, clean, and set the points to .010 on a high lobe of the cam before you do anything else.
