1970 40 hp evinrure 40053a......original paint colours

Its spring and its time to spruce up the outboard. I want to repaint it the original colours with decals( all of mine are missing when i bought it last year). The engine plate suggests it's a 1970 40hp big twin. 40053a. Anyone have any idea of what this engine looked like new with the decals? Thanks for your help.

I have been wanting to replace my decals on my 40053a. i have had no luck yet. i was thinking of re-doing in illustrator and having my local vinyl printer do them. just alot of work to drawl up and properly size them to original.
