I recently purchased a 19’ seabird I believe it originally came with a Chrysler 318 with a v drive it currently has a 3.7 mercruiser with an alpha 1 drive . Any information on this boat would be much appreciated I can not locate a hull number and information on internet is almost non existent. Thank you in advance

Do you have the paperwork for the boat?

Consider it a project

In most states it is not yours without proper paperwork. Being an old glass boat, it will need extensive repair/ rebuild, so get all the ownership papers in order before you put any money into it.

What year you think it is? The HIN will be on the transom if 72 or newer.

doing some digging on THT and other sites, they are a balsa cored hull. so most likely the boat will need a full restoration.
I'm surprised a early , especially , small hull like that would be cored , adds $$ to the sale price which was the bottom line during that time period .

Boat is in excellent shape even the original floor is good must have been stored indoors for most of its life except for some odd blistering in the gel coat which is isolated to one area are so almost seems that a chemical got spilled on it . I actually had it on the water for a test run towards the end of the summer .

that was state of art back then. my old hydrostream was cored as well. gave the hull away after looking at what it would cost to repair.
