I just got a 69 starcraft trident with a evinrude 85hp. im going to start redoing the interior soon, any suggestions on where i should get most of my supplies ? so far it seems to be in really good shape for its age
I wouldn't do any upholstery before doing a thorough inspection of the deck (floor) and the transom. All of which are plywood encased in fiberglass.
I'd suggest you start by reading as many resto threads about fiberglass boats as you can. Few will be found here in the Starcraft Owner's forum. Mostly tin boats. A few glass though.
Welcome aboard! Like jb said, check very carefully for rot in the transom and stringers first... it really sucks to find out after dumping time and momey into it!
