1969 Merc 110 Fuel Line Assembly

Hey all,
I have a 1969 Merc 110 9.8 hp outboard I’m trying to get running and, being new to boating I have no idea if this is the right fuel line assembly. If this isn’t the right assembly, can someone please let me know what assembly would work?

It wont fit the original fittings on the motor or your tank..-----But I can not see your motor or your fuel tank.-----If this motor is " new to you " then a full inspection needs to be done before spending any beer tokens.----You won't need that hose if say , compression is not correct !!

Cut off the connectors and replace them with these from oldmercs.com

you need the bayonette style connector as shown in post #3 up until when they changed in the early 90's

do not attempt to use the attwood brand connector as they leak. you need the moeller brand or the factory made parts.

Wow, I didn’t expect such a quick response! Thanks for the input! So far, what I know is that the previous owner (a good friend) said it has a leaky carb. It definitely has compression though so that’s good, and everything looks to be in near-new condition. And good to know about the connector and the Atwood line leaking. I’ll be returning the line for sure!

1969 was one of those years when Mercury was using a smaller bayonet style connector. They were/are pricey ($50 ish when I bought one), but perhaps there are more now available (?) and then you can fit it to any compatible fuel line.

I don't believe you will find anything ready-made.

From the same company, you should replace the diaphragm too.
