Hello I have a chance to pick-up a 1969 Evinrude 115 hp Motor Model 115983E Pretty cheap. My question to any one out there, is this a good motor? Thank you

New they were fantastic, their lower unit is Hydro-electric shift, parts NLA.

Thank you for your reply. This is good news, I am new to the old outboard motor but I appreciate them. Now you mention the parts are NLA. what doe this mean? Thank you John

If it's running well and comes with the complete wiring and remote control, it should be worth .65 a pound US.
