i have a mercury 650 4 cylinder fron 1969,the motor has lost power,it used to jump out right onto plane and top speed was 30mph,now it takes a little time to get it up onto plane and top speed is around 17mph but if i bump the choke itll give me another 3 to 4 mph. i have been using the boat as it still trolls fine, im concerned about further hurting the motor by doing this,
