1968 starcraft jupiter wth 80 hp evinrude

ok i am new to boating an i only paid 200 for the boat. so far i have replaced the floor and carpet but i need to do the wiring after searching around for several days i cannot find out all the wiring information i need since the old owner decided his messed up way of wiring the boat was better an now the boat wornt start. any help will be greatly appreciated.

First: find out the model of your motor.
Second: purchase an authentic Factory Service Manual (FSM). FSMs have the proper wiring schematic for your motor. They can be found at outboardbooks.com.
Third: Take a look around and see if anything is missing or routed improperly.
Fourth: If you still have problems, post back with specific problems that you are having and the folks on the forum will be glad to help.
