1968 mercury 60 6 hp

i have one of these little jewels i just bought -thinking it had fuel problem- i flushed fuel system got it to fire and crank - went to change plugs [it would run an die] , discovered water seeping from small hole just below bottom spark plug [appears to be corrosion caused. looked online for hrs for the replacement part and a gasket just cannot seem to find either! think if i replace these i get some service out of engine!help!!!please!

is the hole in the head or the gasket? after searching it definitly say it,s and antique gonna be hard to find

It sounds like you'll have to fill the hole with JB weld for a quick fix.
If the leak is from the water jacket gasket, a Mercury dealer might have one.

JB B WELD RULES BUt make sure it,s dry totally befor sanding filing etc I did an AC line and it,es still holding a month later. and today I had my exhaust plate dry for my outdrive and the sucker is as good as new. TIP Sand the material before adding JB weld to insure adherance
