1968 mercruiser 160 ignition coil

I would like to know what the specs should be on my ignition coil out of the boat. I get 1.6 primary and 10.56. secondary. Is this a good coil?

the coil was bought new 2 years ago and sat in the boat 2 winters is anything else that would suggest a bad coil . also would the condenser cause it not to spark and can I test the condenser? it was putaway running what do you think might go after sitting 2 winters outside besides checking wiring for shorts.

1 run some fine sandpaper or a nail file across the points, thee glazed over and not making a connection.
I rarely find the cond is bad, a bad tach will kill spark though.
