hi been using the site to complete my first boat restoration now im interested in purchasing another restoration project, the boat is a 1968 chrysler sting ray, with a 68 55 horse johnson, he told me that the motors is not locked up but he believes the wiring has been fried up. the total price for the boat is 300 bucks, that includes boat, trailer, and motor. my last restoration project has a 71 johnson 100 horse and i have some experience working on these engines, and now have it running great. what do you guys think it?s a good deal or not? here is the link on craigslist. thanks for your guys input

Id go there with 300 cash, the trailer alone is worth that, so you cant lose.

Check here on iboats first. Another good site for older parts is laingsoutboards.com. Good luck.
