Hello, I've got a problem with my outborad that is a little beyond my knowledge. I acquired the motor and it was running on one cylinder, the upper one. So I amused that I needed to replace the the coils, points, wires ect. Well before I began that adventure I wanted to see if the motor was even worth fixing, so I did a compression test and it checked out very well. Next I hooked up a spark checker to both wires and plugs. Now this is where I'm confused, first I did the top and I knew it worked and it did, next was the bottom cylinder the one I knew wasn't working, and to my surprise it did. It lit up the checker the same as the upper. I do know there is no combustion going on in the lower cylinder, I can remove the plug wire and the motor still runs when on and the plug in there is spotless. At this point I am thinking a fuel related problem, almost like that cylinder isn't getting the fuel it needs?? Any help is appreciated thanks, Ryan
