1967 Merc 110 9.8 Lower Unit Issues

I went on the lake yesterday and my motor would wind all the way out but my prop would not spin, i got home and was leaking lower unit oil down by the prop. I do not know alot about outboards and i really would appreciate the help. Thanks

It kid of sounds like you spun your prop. Or you blew your gearcase. Put it in gear with motor off and see if you can spin the prop.

A spun prop is a prop that has busted loose from the rubber hub inside the prop

no i cannot spin the prop while it is in gear, i went to a shop today and they thought it was a prop shaft seal and the o-ring for the bearing carrier. thank you for the help and i will keep you updated on what i find out
