1967 Homemade

I was just given a boat from a friend. On the title it says that it is a 1967 Homemade. Has anyone ever heard of the brand "Homemade"?

Yes, I have three made by that same company, one aluminum and two fiberglass ones.

I have one of the same brand also! What really got to me was the excise tax when I went to register it and I had even been so cheap that I milled my own lumber.

i have several, there were no hull id numbers on boats prior to 1972, there are a lot of older boats registered homemade. this way the state was able to issue and hull id number.

seeing you have the title, there should be not problems with registering it.
