1967 evinrude 60 hp: thermostat plus check valve missing

I recently obtained a 1967 evinrude 60 hp but the entire content of the thermostat housing is missing including thermostat, check valve a spring plus a couple of small parts. I have been able to locate a thermostat (vernatherm) but with the rest of the parts I have not been able to find them.
I appreciate any help in locating them including any substitute that might work

You could try the top secret files at the begining of this forum and look for salvage yards.
