Hasn't run for a few years, No spark so I cleaned the points and reset. Cleaned carb and fired it up in the barrel. Runs great but no sign of "peeing"??? Ran for half hour in gear and out but no sign of overheating. Top cylinder shows 175 F, bottom about 160 F with my hand held. with flush screw out there is water coming out only warm. Do I have to tear it down?

I would NEVER run a motor that is not peeing for more than 5 seconds. Any more than that and the OLD impeller could explode pushing pieces into the block causing blockage.
Just replace the water pump impeller and run it.
Make sure the water level is high on the lower unit.
