Hello all..I am new here and have a big question I hope somebody might be able to help me with..
I just had my 67 rude tuned-up a couple of weeks ago and the first time i put it on the water it ranexcellent except when I went to throttle it up it wouldnt hardly run above an idle.I checked and the cable was advancing the throttle like it should,I cant find a reason why it is doing this..
Any help would be greatly appriciated.

check the plugs sounds like one missing . it will run fine till you put in gear . if it has 2 carbs and one is clogged . it want put gass to one cylinder .that will let it run dry . even though itis not firing it will damage that cylinder. if you havent instaled new plugs do so .they may look good but looks can be deceving. i have a 33 1965 first time out had that probablem . papasage
