Re: 1966 Mercury 500 NO SPARK. ?????

Looking at the motor from the prop side the tell tail hose goes into a nipple on the bottom left of the motor. I went to walmart and bought a tub and ran it that way. Warm Water comes out of the grilles above the prop and a small spray comes out from two square nozzles close to the bottom cowl of the motor. I grab a hose that seems to be going from cyl 2 to 3 and it was warm like water is circulating up there. The question I have is is it enough pressure?
There is a 1/8' NPT plug in the top of the block, aft of the flywheel. Unscrew this plug and start it just long enough to see if water comes out.
The 2-3 hoes is a balancing line (has fuel and oil in it).

Exactly what I thought, bgc. There are two balancing lines.

Joe, what is your serial number? Also, you now have two threads going on about peeing. This one which has diverted from no spark to no pee and a no peeing thread here: http://forums.iboats.com/mercury-mariner-outboards/1966-merc-500-not-peeing-611586.html#post4262325. This is getting confusing - pick one or the other. I've posted in both and I'm getting lost.
