1966 johnson 40 hp

I have a 1966 Johnson 40 hp long shaft that I may need som hard parts for. I know Johnson and Evinrude had years and horsepower ranges that used some of the same parts. Where can I find a cross reference for this.

1966 Evinrude and Johnson 40hp motors are exactly alike except for the hood. And the remote control if it is electric shift. Otherwise, same parts and same part numbers, ordered from either dealer.
