I purchased a 1966 Johnson 33hp Electric Motor yesterday. This morning I took it out for a test run and it runs great. ( hadn't been ran in the last five years i was told ). It started right up with only the use of the choke. It doesn't miss or sputter or lag. The only problem is that it idles a little too fast. I looked at the throtle linkage and everything seems to be adjustable for max idle but not minimum idle? Is there a way to adjust this that I'm not seeing? Thanks for helping a Young Salt out.
