I have a 1965 75 hp Johnson Sea Horse (4Al-17S) motor. It has been sitting for four years. Recently started engine and idles good. Replaced carb. filter, inline fuel filter, drained fuel tank, new plugs, rotor and points look good and are gapped correctly. Out of the water in runs and can reach 4K+ RPM great under load (in water) can only get up to 10 mph and only reach 2K RPM. Check throttle link and is adjusted correctly. All four cylinders are firing. We are in the process of rebuilding the carb. (in has duel carbs) --- we are going to install new needles/jets because it came from a higher altitude and we are located approx. 2K feet below its previous location. If this does not fix it I do not know what to do. -----HELP is there anyother suggestions
