hello everyone, so I bought a 78 holiday from my neighbor, I still have to pick it up, I'll be getting some pictures of the boat within the next week or so. I bought a donor boat today. its a 1989 waitsboro gla.ssport with a 115 Johnson for $900 today..

I have pictures of the glassport and I opened a photobucket account since it sounds like that's the easiest way to put pictures on here but I cant figure out how to put the album of pictures from photo bucket on here. does anyone know how to upload my pics from photobucket? thanks

I just stopped by my neighbors house to take a look at the starcraft that I bought from him. im just waiting for the ground to dry up a bit before I bring it to my house where the work can begin. while I was there I took some pics. the pvc apparatus was to hold up the cover that was weathered and torn. so here it is for your viewing pleasure.

She's tin with a Jetson stern light - You can't go wrong! The donor windshield might fit her. She used to have a plexi bubble W/S, I see the anchors sticking up by the gasket line.

I call that Marvelous Tin, Marvelous. :D

Ton of potential! Many original parts for it (including a purple stern light!!)! Old school to the bone! Love it!

She has a ton of potential, I doubt if you are going to be able to save any of the floor for templates, it looks as if its pretty much done for. I love the white rub rail insert.

I thought so too. I got the tin boat for 200 with the trailer. I plan on stripping it down completely

The white rubrail insert may be extremely tough to find, carefully remove it if you need to

Jb, thanks for the tip, will do. GA, I actually kinda fell into he deal. Stopped by my neighbors to visit one day and he asked if I was interested in the boat. Otherwise he was goin to crap it. Couldn't let that happen and couldn't pass on the price

Hello all. Sorry for the long hiatus. I've been really busy with a couple of new kids, and basically living at work to buy my new house. So I was able to pull the donor boat out of the wet and snowy yard with my old allis WC yesterday. It's in the garage and ready to be torn down. I've got a little organizing to do in he garage and then I can finally get started on my resto
