i have a 1960 genva fiberglass 16ft runabout with a 1964 90hp johnson meteor on the back of it.i have rebuilt the carbs completly and have 75-80 pounds of compression on all 4 cyl. the motor seems to run great, but i cant hardly get it to go over 23mph on the speed odometer. i would think that 90hp would be faster than that ?? or am i just expecting to much out of the older motor ? any info would be great thanks !! scotty
