1964 johnson 5.5 hp

hi i just bought a 1964 johnson 5.5 runs super i just put a new impeller in it but my questions is what mix of fuel to oil ratio should i use. on the handle it says 50 to 1 could this be correct its kinda faded any help thanks

That's correct. OMC went to 50:1 in 1964 and on. Use TCW-3 oil.

I have several of those 5.5's and they're great 'lil engines.
