Hi guys just looking for some help. I soaked my cylinders with seafoam over night to decarb and loosen up the rings to see if that would help bring up the compression. started at 80psi. and now got 90psi. but i noticed some of the seafoam running out my water pump discharge hole. Would that be a sign that my head gaskets are bad? Thanks for any help :)

If you have 90 psi your head gaskets aren't bad. What you see is normal.

Cool, thanks boobie, its my first engine and boat, i have a lot to learn and its very interesting how boat motors work. Do u think its normal for the seafaom to come out there, or maybe an exhaust leak or something?

its just the way 2 strokes work, if one cyl is below the exhaust port , anything you put in a plug hole is gunna run out where the exhaust exits the motor.

Your sea foam is running out the cylinder exhaust ports. Guess where some of the exhaust goes? Out the exhaust relief hole----same place some of the water goes out. Leave the head gaslets alone.

Before you ask, yes it will be running out a bunch of drain holes in the lower unit too. And will smoke like crazy when you start it up too.
