Bottom is fill plug, top is vent plug. Remove bottom plug and insert pump nozzle from lower unit lube container, then remove top vent plug, pump oil into lower unit until it comes out the vent opening...install vent plug...then remove pump nozzle and reinstall drain plug. Pretty much the same proceedure for all outboard's
