Excellent job on the engine! Very impressed with the paint job, gold and black........looks like a perfect Penguins vessel. Keep up the good work Nittany Lion.

Great article and well documented!!!!!! There are some suggestions I would like to make, your engine was made with .078 reed stops, I would have changed them to .110 stops. They were used on the 90 and 100 HP starflites, these stops would improve performance and I would also use a 24:1 oil mix (will most likely get some flack on this :rolleyes:). Oh and one more thing, lose the Steelers and replace with "Packers" (Flack for sure on this comment :D:D).

man did i need this site i just got myself one of these 63s very cool motor looking forward to the restoration,your cowling is just slightly different than mine tho not by much. nice job on the pics very helpful.
