I just got my parts manual yesterday (BIG help). I started to look for NOS parts or good used parts online but I can't find anything. I found some sites that sell new parts at full price, but I don't need the parts until next spring so I'm going to hold out on buying full price items until the last minute. Have the part numbers for pistons or rings been superceded? If this is the case then some of the parts listed on ebay may work for me. I'm also looking for crank seals and bearings.

you can go to ishopmarine.com enter the part number at the top of the page, then it will tell you the availablity, or will give you a superceded number. tcoutboard.com seawaymarine.com may have the NOS parts. you are better off calling the later two.

I called tcoutboard; no luck there. I also called seaway marine. The guy told me that I had the wrong one. He said that there was a Seaway Marine in California, but I couldn't find it. And yes, most parts that I was looking for have been superceded.
