Have everything I need save 1 part, the impeller key (ordered 2 but they arent the correct ones)
Im wondering if I can find a steel dowel and cut it to fit if that would work.
Has anyone ever been here, worked with this? Interesting the the design of the water pump and
how the impeller rotates clockwise over the cavity to move water. I have to trust the engineering
of course but still one would think it would have been an in-line flow.
Would appreciate very much any input and thoughts on the pics.
The impeller looks correct in its "open-close" rotation and the keyhole looks as if a dowel pin would work.
I should add the "pin" that was there looks like a stainless screw that was cut to fit.
Best of all would be if anyone knows where to find the exact replacement. It may just belong to history now.
Appreciate all the good info Ive received so thanks in advance.
