Hi guys bought the above motor and me and my mate have shown it a bit of tlc and got it running gave it its first test yesterday and ran flawlessly all day only problem is it is weeping water from the exhaust cover it is only a tiny leak so was wondering how much of a problem it is and how hard a job it would be to sort it out ? Thanks for any help.

If it's a freshwater motor, I might try giving the screws in the area of the leak a bit of a tightening. Go gently - if the screws show ANY sign of not turning, STOP. If they did tighten up, but didn't take care of the leak, remove the plate and cut yourself a new gasket from gasket material. You will probably have to cut out two gaskets, as there is a plate between the cover and the block. Save the old ones as best you can to use as templates. Some fine scissors and a hole punch should do the job.
