I just ordered a new idle adjustment screw to replace the broken stub that I had to adjust with needle nose pliers. I really seemed hard to screw in and when I tried to back it out it broke off. (Now I know why the other one was broken). Can someone explain why this screw is just a very small guage metal shaft surrounded by plastic threads? If I ever get new stub out I am tempted to replace it with an all metal screw, it looks like 1/4x20, but there must be a good reason they use this composite screw.
