Wayne, I don't have the numbers right in front of me, but I am pretty sure the torque is 8-10 ft lbs, hopefully one of the other guys will correct that if I am wrong, but I do know it is not 40 (way too much).

+1 ^ or 96 - 120 in/lbs bb - You don't have CRS yet.

The last time I worked on a motor was in my Dads garage when I was young and I never worked on a 2 cycle so no I don't have a CRS.
What's a CRS? I don't know a conversion from ft/lbs to in/lbs but this has been a fun project so far.

Conversion from in-lbs. to foot-lbs. : Divide by 12 :) from foot-lbs. to inch-lbs. multiply by 12.....
CRS is just a joke.

Yea I get it CRS and ok, borrowed a wrench today can't get to it till tomorrow and yes inch to foot. Thanks. 120 in/lbs
