The shifter handle on my QD19 was broke by the previous owner and I just bought a replacment off Ebay that came off an 1955 15hp Evinrude. The seller said it would fit my motor. The handle fits fine but I noticed that the eye on the shift rod is also broke, so I have to replace it with the Evinrude shifter rod.
Is there any manuals or diagrams out there for my motor?
How would I go about doing this?
Is the shift rod even the same?
