Looked at the Texas Maid brochures (close but not exact match); title says 1954 (prior to the TM existence); prior owner says 1957; but it does not match up on any spec charts for Texas Maid that I can find (it is 20 feet long).
No matter what it is, we love it and my 14 year old with his boating license, is just ecstatic. It actually had a capacity plate with the State of Texas hauling it through the water, before this idiot ex-friend of mines', even more idiot brother in law, fumbled it and sent it to Davy Jones' locker. (JK Danny)
So, looking for: identification thoughts and design and manufacturer suggestions for:
ski pole
ladder
swim deck
lounge seats (probably home made - I saw some old ones that flipped and liked them - from front chair to rear facing lounge)
stereo with LOUD system.
We will post updates as me, my 14 year old son, and some other guys that know what they are doing, get this cooler than Elvis river show ready for ski and fun in the Alabama sun. BTW - the trailer that it came on has an engineering coolness equal to the fins.
