hello again. i have a 1957 seahorse 35hp. the control cables i have need replaced. my question is how do i get the control box teeth connector off of the cable so i can apply them to the new cables? any help will be appreciated
I think the OP is referring to the shifter cable.
If so, then the wire end of the cable usually goes through a hole in a tiny cylindrical metal clamp and is held in position by a couple of set screws
