Does anyone know the correct torque for the flywheel nut on a 1957 7.5 Hp Evinrude Fletwin. Thanks

It should be torqued at 40-45 foot lbs.

A search using the keywords "flywheel nut torque"in this forum, produces several hits on 57' model engines from 5.5 to 18 hp and the torque values listed are from 40-45 ft lbs.<br /><br />Edit : MCM has you covered.
