Good evening everyone. Brand new to the forum. I purchased a boat yesterday and the guy told me it was a 1956 Starcraft (that's what the previous owner told him) I've been looking online but cannot find much info as far as what model it is or if it's even a 1956 or even a Starcraft. There is no ID plate or any markings aside from the old license number. I tried calling the registry but they told me they couldn't get the info because of privacy issues. Any info would help!

Thanks

I'm not completely familiar with the earlier 50 models of SC boats but just looking at this one, I see no similarities with any of the SC models and it has been severely mauled over the years disguising any positive model ID.

That's unfortunate. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Anyone else have any idea?

I have a '56 Starcraft aluminum, which they introduced as a Starlite, then the 14' fishing model is Starfire 14. This was the very beginning of Starcraft aluminum boats according to period advertising. Mine bears no resemblance to the one pictured. Is it aluminum? Best, DD

Have seen many starcrafts.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it is not a starcraft.

It is and will be whatever you can make out of it, and whatever you can get it registered in your name as.
