Hello fellow boaters. I am rebuilding the afore mentioned motor. The engine plate shows the model as 25526 & the cover is the brown/chrome/white Lark cover. The cylinders have been bored and honed .20 over and matched to piston size. Now, I need a set of rings. The original part number for the rings is 303066. eBay is not helping my search. I have also searched Hastings.

Does anyone have a cross reference or maybe even a spare set of rings?

Thank you.

I dunno if this helps but there a lot of 2 5/8" rings about , mostly for 4 strokes but that might not matter as long as they are the right thickness , a wee wizz with a dremel to make piston ring peg reliefs ..........maybe

In case anyone might see this listing in the future, I've got the answer from the group at aomci: the part number I listed is for a single ring. The set of three is # 378422. Plenty of those about.

Thanks for the update with that very useful info/part number. Good luck with that great old motor! Looking forward to more updates. WC
