I have a 1956 johnson 7.5 it has no spark on the bottom cylinder so I was in the process of pulling flywheel to check points and coil and found that the plug wire for the bottom cylinder was cracked and grounding to the motor I moved the wire around and checked to find the bottom cylinder is now firing. so my question is do I need to get a metal core wire or will any automotive type plug wire work? I thank you in advance for any information

The dealer will carry it as well by the foot. Some of the NAPAs, but most make you buy the 50' roll.

Tractor supply is another location.
