1955 Fastwin Ignition Question Bottom plate moving?

I just replace everything in my ignition system I put the fly wheel back on 45 ft of torque. My question is when i spin the wheel to check for spark the bottom plate moves is this ok or what should I do it does not seem like it was like that before.

Hi anthony. All of my magneto plates seem to wobble a bit. I'd say an 1/8' up/down. If it's more than that, or if it's causing the flywheel magnet to rub against the coils, then I would remove the flywheel and try to tighten it up, but if it's not causing any of those problems you're probably ok.
