Just purchased a 1954 14 ft Naden boat. Came with a 67 Johnson 28 hp motor. I want to restore this boat and have a fun functional boat when I'm done. Any advise on where to start would be appreciated. It seems remarkably intact to me as it still has its canvas fold down top and even has the orig chome cup holders. Thanks

Welcome to iBoats! Check out my signature line for how to upload pics.
A boat is not much good without a motor so your first line of business should be to check out the motor and get it running. Second you should make sure the transom is solid since that is what the motor will be hanging on. Third the Deck and stringers should be solid to ensure your hull can take the beating of the waves and the wakes when you ae on the water. All the rest is cosmetic. Post some pics so we can all se what you're working with.

I'm just sayin...:D
