I have an 18hp Tohatsu (1996 Model) which fouls the plugs after a few minutes trolling. It doesnt stall, but when you accelerate it does not grab full power until it burns off the oil, leaving a cloud of blue smoke.<br /><br />I mix quality TCWIII oil at 50:1 as per the manual.<br /><br />I bought the motor new and apart from a couple of clogged carby problems, it does not miss a beat.<br /><br />Would hotter plugs reduce the problem? If so, what plugs would suit? Any other suggestions.<br /><br />craw
