150hp johnson 1997 fast strike

Ok so I have an older 1997 johnson On the weekend I took it out and after about 30 min all my guages died so I decided to drive back to my cabin about 15 min away when I got back I noticed my trim was trimming down but it was all the way down the switch got stuck. So I took it out and unhooked my tilt trim switch on my engine and it stopped but only 3 of my guages popped back on my gas volt and oil lights but my tachometer and speedometer still don't work. So I tested the signal and grounds and they're all good but the wires running to my voltage regulator look a little burnt where it clips in. Could my trim switch getting stuck down for about 15 min burn out my voltage regulator causing my two guages not to work?

I should mention the boat runs fine and I replaced the trim switch and it works fine as well
