Hi guys iam looking at a J175txco johnson 1985 twenty five inch shaft that is low in on cyclinder 50lb compression , it is a flat back exhaust looks real tired. I want to ask if i can swap a E150tlcur evinrude 1987 twenty inch shaft motor power head flat back exhaust on to the 175 extra long shaft mid section to make it a 25inch motor for my boat ?? So in short i want to put the 150 power head on the 175 body and what do i do with the gear case swapp the 20 inch case is fresh the 175 case is in question but the oil in the case was used had just a tinge of water infiltration any ideas really appreciated thanks Jerrry
