Hey Guys! We have a Johnson 150 Fast Strike which has run like a top and never given us a bit of trouble...until now. For the past two weekends we have pulled up on a beach at the lake and after sitting there a couple of hours, the motor will not crank. We removed the plugs to find them wet and gas was also pooled in the carbs. Getting fire, but seems "flooded" Put new plugs in..cranked and ran fine..(after we were towed in) went back to the lake, back to the beach, same thing again...WOULD NOT crank, even after drying and changing plugs on the water. Back at the house, cranked the motor in full throttle and it cranked right up and ran...like a flooded car. Just wondering what is causing this to happen only when we pull up on that beach. The motor was down in the water....would the exhaust be getting sand filled and causing it to flood? Any advice would be helpful! Thank you!
