I have a 15' aluminum v-hull mastercraft- big fisherman. When someone is in the front seat it rides and drives great. When i am in it alone and sitting in the rear it is like a sailboat !! I need some suggestions on how to control this problem. Do i put some weight in front ? I am going to move my battery up front but i dont think that will be enough. I also did buy a set of doul-fins hoping that will help it plane out once i get going. Thanks for any ideas, Erik

You answered your own question. The boat is light, has a certain amount of "sail" to it due to the area it presents to the wind and water. As you said move something up front. One thing that helps is to put in a side console and move yourself forward somewhat. Tabs could help, but you still have a sail and they are primarily made for "lardarse" boats (if you will)....heavy stearns.
