15’ boat weight

Hey all, what do you suppose my ‘95 sunbird spirit 150 weighs? It’s a 15’ fiberglass hull with an evinrude 50 o/b. It sits on a single axle galvy EZ Loader trailer that i believe to be original to the boat.

Reason i ask, i have a ford escape i’ve acquired which has a 1500 lb tow capacity. We live in a “lakes region” so we never go far. I also have my full size pickup but would be nice to know if the escape is up to the task or not. If it’s close to the max i will just continue to use the truck.

Confirm that's actual towed weight, my escape rated tow capacity was higher, v6, but that included ALL weight IN the escape too, not just the actual towed weight:
Passengers
Gear
Etc
Everything but the driver

There should be a tag or small plate on the trailer stating capacity and weight of the trailer alone. See if you can find and get the information off of it.

Net weight list as 1432. Add fuel, trailer, supplies, etc.

4cyl escapes weren't known for great transmissions. My boss & dad both returned theirs under lemon law, both mid 2000s

Use your truck, the 4 cylinder escape is not really made to tow anything...safely...
