1985 140hp Johnson VRO Model# J140TLCO just put in my new fuel floats needels and seats started and ran on muffs blue smoke and black foam out of exhaust can someone help

Is this motor new to you? Most outboards start with a cloud of blue smoke - Could you amplify the black foam description a bit?
